Back in 2010 we had a Tentrax Trailer...ended up selling it; it was too small for our growing family. But in the market for a replacement before our trip next summer.
![]() Looking at Rockbox trailers, mostly because they're semi local. Anyone have any experience with them? Last edited by daPitbull; 01-02-2016 at 11:34 AM. |

So far, you've got a great looking rig. Going back all the way to your first 4runner, I'd say you have excellent taste!
![]() I'm assuming you had to do a bunch of trimming to get everything to fit, yes?

I did enough trimming to get it street drivable. I'll address the final fitment issues when I get the front and rear bumpers on, which will be in a month or so. Not planning on hitting the trails yet.

I ran the same coils and shocks on the FJ when I had the 4x4labs bumper on there and I was pleased. They're 15 or 20% stiffer (i forget) than stock FJ coils and 16.5" free height. An alternative is to put a spacer on your rear coils now.

I like it. Did they custom build your rings or its generic type? How did you fit them into the rim? Are they functional or just for looks?

Check out OMF website, they do conversions. Demello also sells these but you can do them cheaper if you can source the wheels. I paid $60 each off craigslist.http://www.omfperformance.com/beadlo...onversions.php

Got a few more things on the runner in the past week, DO sliders, ARB rear locker, 4.56 gears, Spidertrax spacers, and Wheelers Superbumps.
I got an alignment this weekend and had them push the caster as far forward as possible, basically maxing out the caster plate and keeping the toe and camber within spec. This helped a ton with rubbing, but a little more trimming needed because of the spidertrax spacers. I'm going to cut the body mount back a little more and have Jeff @ Toy Connections box it in. A little more massaging, and the 35" will work. Here is a thread from the blue room about the alignment settings. For guys with +33" tires, try this. It worked on my FJ so figured the same for the runner. http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...hout-chop.html |

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to have your wheels beadlocked at OMF? I'm interested in having mine done.
